Elden Ring Nightreign: How to Unlock 6 Relic Slots
Unlocking all six relic slots in Elden Ring Nightreign dramatically boosts your build flexibility. Players who rush the campaign without these extra slots often hit a wall when facing late-game bosses.
Each new slot requires a specific relic fragment, a hidden NPC quest, and a certain character level. Follow the steps below in order and you will have the full set ready before NG+.
1. Reach Character Level 40

2. Obtain the Moonlit Relic Fragment
Return to the Chapel of Anticipation after defeating the second remembrance boss. Speak to the hooded NPC who appears only at night. Trade the Memory of Grace for the Moonlit Relic Fragment.
3. Complete the Three Trials
Slots 5 and 6 need three short NPC quests in Limgrave, Caelid, and the Mountaintops. Each trial rewards one fragment and takes roughly 15 minutes if you already hold the required great runes.
- Limgrave: Speak to Roderika after giving her the Chrysalids’ Memento
- Caelid: Defeat the Putrid Tree Spirit in the War-Dead Catacombs
- Mountaintops: Light three evergaol torches in order
4. Insert Fragments at the Roundtable Hold

Once you hold all six fragments, rest at the Roundtable Hold Site of Grace. A new menu titled “Relic Altar” appears. Place the fragments in the empty sockets to finish the unlock sequence.
